This piece is the third work of the series called ‘Time Discontinuum.’ The idea behind of the piece is from the rearrangement of music on timeline. We cannot go against the flow of time, but we only arrange the sound objects on the timeline. In this piece, the composer tries to create a virtual time-space which is controlled by performer’s amplitude of sound. At the beginning of the piece, the computer records the gesture and sound of the performance with camera and microphone, and the performer controls and rearranges the recorded video and sound with violin sound information on stage. This piece was composed for the concert project of The Bell of King Seongdeok which is a large bronze bell, the largest extant bell in Korea. It was also known as the 'Emille Bell' which has the sad story of the bell maker. In the piece, the hand bell sound represents the long resonance sound of the 'Emille Bell,' and the violin symbolizes the storyline of the bell maker.
